Professional Accreditation and Credentialing Fees
The following procedures applies for alumni who require credentialing services effective January 1, 2012:
Credentialing is a cost recovery service provided to alumni. Fees will be assessed on a case by case basis and set according to the complexity** of the request. Alumni will receive an estimate including costs and deliverables prior to initiation of the credentialing.
Please expect up to three months for the completion of simple and complex requests. Timelines for a complex request that requires curriculum mapping will be negotiated on a case by case basis.
**Complexity Definition and Estimated Costs
“Simple requests” (single form, confirmation of enrolment): $100 CDN
“Complex requests” (multiple forms, requirements to pull records to fulfill the request): Estimated Range: $250 - 500 CDN
“Complex request”, plus curriculum mapping (multiple forms, requirement to pull records, and mapping the curriculum to another country’s professional standards): Estimate Range: $3,000 – 5,000 CDN

Documentation for the “Assessment of Equivalence of Qualification” for the country of Australia is not provided by the School of Rehabilitation Science, McMaster University. Alumni seeking licensure in Australia are encouraged to review alternatives that are available: http://www.physiocouncil.com.au/assessment.
