John McCluskie is a part-time assistant clinical professor with the School of Rehabilitation Science , McMaster University . The rest of his time is spent in clinical practice working in a private clinic at Lifemark ProActive Physiotherapy.
John began tutoring for the Physiotherapy program in 2005 for the Unit 1 Fundamentals of Practice. In 2007 he began teaching the Anatomy and Physiology resource sessions for both Occupational and Physiotherapy programs.
His research interests include functional stability training post acute ankle sprain and core stability training following low back injury.
As part of his continuing education John has completed his Intermediate Certificate in Manual Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and is now working on his Advanced Certificate.
When not juggling my two jobs, it is usually easy to find me on a baseball diamond, a volleyball court or at the gym.
