All applicants are advised to apply for financial assistance from sources outside McMaster University. A list of scholarships for graduate students can be found via the web page of the School of Graduate Studies.
Applicants may also be eligible for scholarships offered by their professional associations, healthcare or educational institutions or special interest groups. Many external scholarships (such as OGS, CIHR) are available only to full-time students and only full-time students will be eligible for a 130-hour Teaching Assistantship valued at $4940.00.
Applicants should be aware that applications for some scholarships need to be submitted during the year BEFORE studies begin. The letter of offer will include a statement of any financial support if awarded. Information on agencies should be available from your nearest University Library or School of Graduate Studies.
Information on tuition fees can be obtained from the Graduate Studies website located here.
