Measurement Methodology
This subtheme applies measurement concepts to the assessment of patients. The concepts include design and analysis issues related to discrimination, prediction, and the evaluation of change.
Current Projects
Quantifying measurement error for self-report and performance measures (e.g., WOMAC, LEFS, numeric pain rating scale, 6-minute walk test, timed-up-and-go)
Evaluation of change in functional status and pain following hip or knee total joint arthroplasty
